General optimization refers to things everyone should be doing for their health. I’ve listed some focus points to give you an idea on what I work with people on
Focus Points
Mitochondria
Mitochondria (the powerhouse of the cell) are responsible for life as we know it. They breakdown our food and provide us with the energy we NEED to survive and thrive. When they break down, we break down. The dance of life lies in the optimization of the electron transport chain within our mitochondria.
Mitochondrial dysfunction is responsible for
Aging, which is not related to number of years lived but to free-radical leakage from mitochondria and the damage that produces
Progression and development of chronic diseases like
Cancer
Cardiovascular Diseases
Atherosclerosis
Heart Failure and Cardiomyopathy
Ischemic Heart Disease (aka Coronary Heart Disease or Coronary Artery Disease)
Hypertension
Type 2 Diabetes
Obesity
Neurodegenerative disorders
Parkinson’s Disease (PD)
Alzheimers Disease (AD) (aka type three diabetes)
Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS)
Muscular Dystrophies and Myopathies
Light
The light around us affects us in extensive ways. Many are familiar with the conversion of cholesterol into vitamin D by UVB light. Most are unaware of the wide breadth of processes that are controlled by light, which has far-reaching consequences for organisms living in a world surrounded by artificial light. Without proper signals from the sun, humans cannot be healthy.
Light controls
Circadian Rhythm
which controls the timed activities of the entire body, including when and how cells regenerate (healing)
Production of melatonin
The body’s most potent anti-inflammatory molecule that also controls sleep and mitochondrial optimization
Structuring of Water
Water absorbs light, mainly near infrared(NIR), and stores the energy by organizing itself into something called the fourth phase of water(aka EZ water or quantum coherent water), which forms within our cells and powers cellular processes through charge separation, similar to a battery
Light Optimizes
Energy production from
Mitochondria through Cytochrome C Oxidase
Melanin’s ability to slit water into usable energy components
Muscle production
Fat loss
Hormone production/functioning
Alertness
Sleep
Mood
Skin regeneration
Bone regeneration
Hair growth
Pain tolerance
Reduction of inflammation
Fertility
Blood sugar regulation
Immunity
Electricity & Electromagnetic Frequencies (EMFs)
The human body is electrical in nature. This may seem strange to some, but our nerves use electrical currents to communicate with and control the rest of the body. Every cell in our body can generate and receive electrical signals to communicate. The mitochondria that power our cells use the flow of electrons to do so. The disruption of our own electromagnetic properties from external sources of electromagnetism (any device that uses electricity or puts out electrical pulses like radio frequencies or microwave emissions) is quite possibly the largest contributor to the health decline of the entire human race over the last 180 years. Every step forward in the electrification of our planet can be associated with giant leaps in the growth of certain disorders within our population including
Influenza, which becomes more deadly each time electrification increased (ie. the transition from telegraphs to household lighting to emission of radio waves to use of radar to the launching of satellites to the introduction of cell phone technology and to household wifi)
Neurasthenia (aka anxiety) was first described in 1869 by Dr. George Beard directly following the explosion of telegraph usage, the first major introduction of electricity in our modern world
Cancer, heart disease, and diabetes (all of which are disturbances in mitochondrial function, which are electrical in nature) all exploded in prevalence with the introduction of distributed electrical power, tracking perfectly with its introduction in various places throughout the United States
Food
What are we supposed to eat? This has been the age old question. Many plants and processed foods contain various toxins and hormone disrupting chemicals. When determining what to eat, the idea is simple. Eat the most nutrient dense foods and avoid as many foods as possible that contain harmful chemicals. Here are a few fun examples of why people need to avoid certain foods
Almonds contain cyanogenic glycosides, which break down into hydrogen cyanide (a highly toxic substance) in the body. Cyanide binds to the iron in cytochrome c oxidase in our mitochondria, causing respiration to stop and the victim to suffocate if enough cyanide is ingested
Kale (the darling of the “health experts”) contains isothiocyanates, which disrupt thyroid function and can lead to the development of a goiter
Spinach contains high levels of oxalates, which bind the minerals in our body depriving us of vital nutrients like calcium, magnesium, potassium, sodium, and iron. Oxalate-mineral crystals form in the body and are the leading cause of kidney stones, as the kidneys are unable to excrete the large crystals that are formed in this way
Chemical Avoidance
There are roughly 350,000 chemicals in use throughout the United States today. Of those, only 700 have been tested and deemed safe. The average person lives in a soup of chemicals, most of which have never been tested. It is our responsibility to avoid as many products that use toxic chemicals as possible. Some common examples include:
Phalates from plastic, which mimic hormones and disrupt hormone signaling
Sodium Benzoate, added to drinks and juices as a preservative, breaks down into benzene in the body. Benzene causes cancer
PFAs(polyfluoroalkyl substances), found on waterproof clothing disrupts metabolism, which can lead to obesity and liver damage
Water
Water is one of the most crucial aspects of life. In order to be healthy, we must be hydrated with quality water and there are many things to consider.
Water needs to be filtered since most sources nowadays are contaminated in some way
There are many levels of filtration, most of which are inadequate
Lowered deuterium (heavy hydrogen) content of water
improves the functioning of our mitochondria through cytochrome c oxidase activity
Improves our DNA replication, allowing for fewer errors
inhibits the development of cancer and is the most successful cancer treatment adjuvant ever discovered
Water is a storage medium for absorbed energy from light. The sun is our primary source of energy to structure the water inside us with near infrared (NIR). Our own chemical cellular processes also give off light internally, which the body stores in structured water and utilizes for processes like mitosis (through mitogenic radiation)
Living/Work
Spaces
Many people are unaware that they are living in a house, or working in a building with high levels of mold or pathogenic bacteria from water-damaged building materials. Its estimated that 65-85% of all structures have mold or bacteria from water damage. Additionally, 25% of the population has HLA gene variants that make it impossible to clear the toxins produced by these microorganisms. Individuals living or working in such places, with or without the gene variants, will experience deterioration of their health. Understanding how safe your living/work space will be crucial to obtaining optimal health.
Overactive Immune Systems
The heavy burden placed upon individuals nowadays by electromagnetic pollution, chemicals, mold toxins, co-infections like lyme disease, bartonella (cat scratch disease), etc. has significantly disrupted the immune systems of many individuals. These issues will need to be addressed in order to heal and include things like
Mast Cell Activation
Limbic System/Vagal Nerve Dysfunction
Mycotoxin Buildup
Multiple Chemical Sensitivities
Electrical Sensitivities
Co-infections (Lyme, Bartonella, Babesia)
Continuous Bacterial Infections from Dental Work
Root Canal
Cavitations
Breathing
For thousands of years the power of breathing has been associated with health, longevity, and returning the body to an optimal state. Like many other things, we have forgotten how we are supposed to breathe. Through the practice of specific breathing patterns, we can properly regulate or amplify two of the most important chemicals to the human body, carbon dioxide and oxygen.
Dopamine
Our ability to plan for the future, think critically, concentrate, and motivate ourselves to do anything is controlled by dopamine. The modern world through screen technology, addictive apps, artificial lights, and drugs have destroyed the average person’s ability to regulate their dopamine and control their lives. The motivation required to change the patterns of one’s life that are leading to the destruction of their health can be difficult to obtain in a world that constantly degrades our dopamine. Therefore, optimization of dopamine is likely an important first step in fixing one’s health.
